Missile debris found in Moldova near Ukraine border

Moldova’s border guards have discovered missile debris near the Larga crossing checkpoint on the border with Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Moldova on February 16, Ukrinform wrote with reference to NewsMaker.

It is noted that the area has been cordoned off. A bomb squad and prosecutors were deployed at the scene.

MIA Moldova specified that this is already the fourth case when missile debris is found after Russia’s strikes on Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian drones and missiles were launched at Ukraine overnight February 16. A number of hits were recorded in the country’s northern and western parts, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions. Ukraine’s forces downed 16 of the 36 missiles launched in the latest barrage.
