War update: Ukraine’s Army repels over 15 Russian attacks in past day

On February 15, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 15 enemy attacks in Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the General Staff.

"The enemy is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive action in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions, in the areas of Hryanikyvka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka, and Vuhledar," the update reads.

No signs of enemy offensive groups being formed have been detected in the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions.

Areas of Yanzhulivka, Chernihiv region, as well as Rozhkovichi, Tovstodubovo, Bilokopytove, Vovkivka, Volfine, and Basivka of Sumy region, and Hraniv, Svitlichne, Strelecha, Vovchansk, Zemlianka, Rublene, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, and Kreidyanka of Kharkiv region, were hit by enemy fire.

The occupiers attacked Naumivka in Sumy region and Hranov and Udy in Kharkiv region from the territory of the Russian Federation, employing army aviation.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy shelled more than 20 settlements using tanks, mortars and artillery, including Hryanikyvka and Kucherivka in Kharkiv region, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Stelmakhivka, Nevske and Chervonpopivka in Luhansk region, and Terna, Novoselivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka and Stepove in Donetsk region. Airstrikes targeted the areas of Zhytlivka, Serebrianske Forestry, and Bilohorivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, the areas of more than 20 settlements were hit by mortar and artillery fire, including Spirne, Vyimka, Rozdolivka, Fedorivka, Vasiukivka, Bilohorivka, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Predtechine, and Kurdiumivka.

In the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, 20 settlements came under tank, mortar, and artillery fire, including Avdiivka, Vesele, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, Mykilske, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Prechystivka, and Zolota Nyva, Donetsk region. The enemy airstrikes also targeted the areas near Kamianka and Novomykhailivka.

In Zaporizhia region, more than 20 settlements came under fire, including Vremivka, Novopil, Temyrivka, Malynivka, Chervone, Gulyaipole, Biloghirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske. Enemy airstrikes were recorded near Novopil and Malynyvka.

In the Kherson direction, the city of Kherson, as well as the districts of more than 10 settlements, was affected by enemy artillery fire.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of over 15 settlements, including Bilohorivka and Serebrianske Forestry of Luhansk region and Fedorivka, Bakhmut, Dilyivka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Novosilka of Donetsk region.

Throughout Wednesday, Ukrainian aviation delivered 11 strikes on Russia’s manpower and equipment clusters, as well as five strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. A Russian Ka-52 helicopter was downed.

Missile and artillery forces hit two enemy control points, six clusters, and two ammunition depots.
