Ukraine’s Air Force launches five strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile system positions
This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00 on February 15 published on Facebook.
"During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces launched 11 strikes on the enemy personnel and military equipment clusters and five strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. At the same time, our defenders destroyed a Russian Ka-52 helicopter on the eastern front," the report reads.
It is noted that the Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit an enemy command post, three manpower clusters, and two ammunition depots.
According to the General Staff data, despite significant losses, Russian troops do not give up their intention to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, continuing to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions.
During the day, the Russian army launched 17 airstrikes and 28 MLRS attacks. The invaders targeted the civilian infrastructure of Pokrovsk town in Donetsk region and objects in Kherson region with MLRS, wounding and killing civilians. An apartment block was almost destroyed by enemy fire, and a hospital in Beryslav, Kherson region, was struck again.
It is reported that no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected in Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions. Certain units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation continue to perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine. Russian troops are trained on the training grounds of Belarus.
At the same time, the aggressors do not stop launching mortar and artillery strikes on the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and settlements near the contact line. In particular, the areas of Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv region; Rozhkovychy, Tovstodubove, Bilokopytove, Vovkivka, Volfyne, Basivka in Sumy region; Hraniv, Krasne, Vovchansk, Zemlianky, Rublene, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Kreydianka in Kharkiv region came under enemy fire.
With the forces of army aviation, the invaders shelled Naumivka in Sumy region, Hraniv and Udy in Kharkiv region from the territory of Russia.
In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, Russian troops shelled more than 15 settlements with tanks, mortars and artillery, including Krokhmalne and Cherneshchyna in Kharkiv region; Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka in Luhansk region; Terna, Novoselivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Stepove in Donetsk region.
In Bakhmut direction, the areas of more than 15 settlements were hit by enemy mortar and artillery attacks, including Mykolaivka, Vasiukivka, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Stupochky, Kurdiumivka, Druzhba, and Mayorsk.
In Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, 14 settlements were hit with tanks, mortars, and artillery, including Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Mykilske, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, and Zolota Niva in Donetsk region.
In Zaporizhzhia region, more than 15 settlements came under enemy fire, including Temyrivka, Malynivka, Chervone, Charivne, Huliaypilske, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, and Zaporizhzhia in Zaporizhzhia region.
In Kherson direction, Kherson, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Kachkarivka, Zmiivka, Beryslav, Vesele, Lvove, Tiahynka, Berehove in Kherson region and Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region were struck.
It was established that in the temporarily occupied Starobilsk, Luhansk region, the invaders set up a military hospital for the treatment of seriously wounded Russian servicemen at the surgical unit of the local hospital. The unit is completely closed for civilian use. As of February 11, about 20 military trucks with wounded Russians arrived.
In temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, the invaders are searching the private houses of the local population to seize watercraft which are then used to carry out sabotage actions and provocations.
