In the past 24 hours, a total of 37 military clashes have occurred in the Bakhmut direction. Russian troops opened fire on the positions of Ukrainian forces 234 times.

The relevant statement was made by Spokesperson for the Eastern Grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhii Cherevatyi during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The offensive began quite a long time ago in our direction. Here, brutal, bloody enemy attacks have been continuously raging for over half a year. In the Bakhmut direction, where the enemy focused their main efforts, shelling has taken place 234 times over the past day alone. Thirty-seven military clashes occurred all over the Bakhmut front. Seventy strikes and 17 military clashes were recorded within the city itself,” Cherevatyi told.

In his words, a total of 205 Russian invaders were neutralized and 219 injured. Such dynamics is maintained on a daily basis, Cherevatyi added.

According to Cherevatyi, Russian troops have significant resources. However, last summer hostilities were raging all over the front line, and now the enemy is concentrating efforts on certain directions. Over the past day, the record-breaking shelling has been recorded in the Lyman and Luhansk directions, as well as near Kreminna, where Russians have opened fire 345 times over the past day.

Meanwhile, with the help of high-precision weaponry, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are making efforts to significantly reduce the enemy’s logistics opportunities.
