War update: Ukraine Army repels enemy attacks near 14 settlements, including Bakhmut

In the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled enemy attacks near 14 settlements in the Donetsk region, including Bakhmut.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, Ukrainian forces repelled attacks by Russian occupiers near such settlements as Verkhniokamianske, Vasiukivka, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Kamianka, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, Vesele, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka.

According to the General Staff, Russian troops are focusing efforts mainly on conducing offensive actions in such directions as Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka.

“During hostilities near the city of Bakhmut, there was a complete lack of coordination and interaction among the servicemen of Russian occupation troops and the so-called Wagner Group’s mercenaries,” the report states.

Over the past day, Russian invaders have launched four missile strikes on civil infrastructure in Kharkiv and the Donetsk region’s Druzhkivka. The enemy also opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 56 times, namely on civilian objects in Kherson. Casualties among civilians were reported.

The threat of Russian air and missile attacks is remaining high all over Ukraine.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, no enemy offensive groupings were detected. The enemy shelling was recorded near the Chernihiv region’s Senkivka, the Sumy region’s Novovasylivka, Seredyna-Buda, Sopych, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Volfyne and Oleksandrivka, and the Kharkiv region’s Strilecha, Neskuchne, Ternova, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Budarky and Rublene.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian invaders opened fire on the Kharkiv region’s Pishchane, Ivanivka, Kucherivka, Kyslivka and Kotliarivka, and the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russian occupiers shelled the Donetsk region’s Terny and the Luhansk region’s Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna, Kuzmyne and Dibrova.

In the Bakhmut direction, over 25 settlements came under enemy fire, including the Donetsk region’s Spirne, Bilohorivka, Mykolaivka, Rozdolivka, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Tarasivka, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka and New York.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched artillery strikes on Semenivkaa, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Vesele, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian invaders used tanks, mortars and artillery to attack the Donetsk region’s Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Novoukrainka. Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka and Neskuchne.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, over 30 settlements came under enemy fire, including the Zaporizhzhia region’s Novopil, Olhivske, Poltavka, Malynivka, Chervone, Huliaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Stepove and Kamianske.

In the Kherson direction, Russian occupiers shelled the city of Kherson and the Kherson region’s Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Kachkarivka, Mylove, Beryslav, Vesele, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Chornobaivka, Antonivka, Dniprovske and Honcharne, i.e. about 20 settlements in total.

Over the past day, Ukrainian air forces have launched nine strikes on enemy clusters and one strike on Russia’s air defense missile system position. Ukraine’s missile and artillery units hit one Russian command post, eight enemy personnel clusters, and one ammunition depot.
