Enemy regrouping, trying to advance in five directions

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, February 4, published on Facebook.

"The enemy is regrouping in certain directions. The main efforts are focused on offensive operations in Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka directions," the report reads.

During the day, the enemy launched nine MLRS attacks.

The situation remains unchanged in Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the border areas with Ukraine, but no offensive groups of invaders have been detected.

At the same time, areas of Senkivka in Chernihiv region; Hlyboke, Zelene, Neskuchne, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Chuhunivka and Velykyi Burluk in Kharkiv region were struck.

In Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Kupyansk, Pishchane, Kyslivka, and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.

In Lyman direction, Terny in Donetsk region; Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Dibrova in Luhansk region came under enemy fire.

In Bakhmut direction, Spirne, Berestove, Vesele, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Druzhba, Mayorsk, and New York were hit.

In Avdiivka direction, the enemy shelled Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka.

In Novopavlivka direction, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Neskuchne, Vremivka, and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region were hit with tanks, mortars, and artillery.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the areas of Huliaypole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia region; Antonivka and Kherson in Kherson region came under mortar, tube and rocket artillery fire.

To replenish manpower, the enemy is trying to involve convicted women in the hostilities. During the week, the invaders recruited about 50 people from the women's penal facility in Snizhne town, a temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. They were sent to the territory of the Russian Federation for training.

"During the day, Ukraine’s Air Force struck three enemy personnel and military equipment clusters. Missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a command post, two enemy manpower clusters, an anti-aircraft missile system, and a fuel depot," the General Staff informed.
