The Russian military shelled a church in the town of Oleshky on the occupied left bank of Kherson region.

"Today, the occupiers shelled a church of the Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate in the town of Oleshky," Oleshky Mayor Yevhen Ryshchuk posted on Telegram.

In turn, the Kakhovka town territorial community posted on Facebook that the Russians hit a Kakhovka gymnasium on the morning of January 30.

Private houses nearby were damaged. Nobody was injured.

As reported, the Russian military wants to create a "grey zone" on both banks of the Dnipro River, so they shell the temporarily occupied bank to force people to leave.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the right-bank part of the Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. A part of the region located on the left bank of the Dnipro River is temporarily captured by Russian troops.
