Residential houses, enterprise damaged in Russian attacks on Kharkiv region

Residential houses and an enterprise have been damaged in Russia’s shelling of the Kharkiv region over the past day. One person was reported injured.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russian troops continue causing terror against civilians in the Kharkiv region. Over the past day, the occupiers have been shelling Kupiansk, Vovchansk, Strilecha, Kozacha Lopan and other settlements in the Kupiansk, Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv and Chuhuiv districts,” the report states.

According to Syniehubov, detached houses were destroyed in the Bohodukhiv district’s villages, Chervona Zoria and Odnorobivka. No casualties were reported.

In Kupiansk, residential houses and houseshold buildings were damaged. In Vovchansk, several detached houses and cars were hit, as well as the building of an enterprise. A woman, 83, was injured and taken to hospital in moderately grave condition.

Demining efforts are underway. Over the past day, the explosives experts of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service have neutralized 33 dangerous objects.
