Enemy conducts unsuccessful offensive actions in three directions

The enemy focuses their main efforts on the Bakhmut direction, and conducts unsuccessful offensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia, Avdiivka and Lyman directions.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"During the day, the enemy carried out five air strikes on the positions of the Defense Forces and a missile attack on critical infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia region. They launched more than 20 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems," the report says.

The threat of air and missile strikes by the Russian Federation on civilian objects remains high throughout Ukraine.

The enemy focuses their main efforts on conducting an offensive in the Bakhmut direction. The aggressor conducts unsuccessful offensive actions in the Zaporizhzhia, Avdiivka and Lyman directions. In the Kupiansk, Novopavlivka and Kherson directions, the enemy holds the defense.

During the day, the Air Force struck three areas of concentration of enemy personnel, units of rocket troops and artillery hit two areas of concentration of the aggressor and two ammunition depots.

As Ukrinform reported, from February 24, 2022 to January 22, 2023, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 120,760 Russian invaders, including 600 over the past day alone.
