Russians once again shell Kharkiv region, killing local woman
That’s according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Ukrinform reports.
The investigators say on January 21, at around 11:00 local time, the Russians shelled the village of Veterynarne of Derhachiv united territorial community, where a civilian was injured.
In addition, around 6:00, Russian forces fired artillery at the city of Vovchansk. An enemy shell hit a household, killing a resident, a 70-year-old woman. A family couple and their 7-year-old daughter were injured by the strike.
Also, a 71-year-old man was wounded in Vovchansk as a result of Russian shelling on January 20. A number of residential buildings were damaged in the area.
Under the procedural leadership of the Chuhuiv and Derhachiv District Prosecutor's Offices of the Kharkiv Region, pre-trial inquiries into violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been initiated.
Law enforcers documented the aftermath of Russian strikes and gathered physical evidence.
As reported by Ukrinform, the enemy shelled Vovchansk, Kupiansk, Strilecha, Vilcha, and Ohirtseve in Kharkiv region, using barrel and jet artillery, tanks and mortars.
