Russian troops are focusing efforts mainly on conducting the offensive in the Bakhmut direction. In the Avdiivka direction, enemy offensive actions are unsuccessful.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Over the past day, Russian invaders have launched six missile strikes (including three on civilian objects in Kupiansk and Kramatorsk), 14 air strikes and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 95 times.

The threat of air and missile strikes is persisting all over Ukraine.

Ukraine’s defense forces repelled enemy attacks near the Luhansk region’s Bilohorivka and the Donetsk region’s Sil, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Vodiane, Nevelske, Marinka and Pobieda.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the situation remained unchanged. No enemy offensive groupings were detected within the areas bordering with Ukraine. Belarus continues to provide support for Russian armed aggression. The air forces of Russia and Belarus are conducting joint exercises within the Belarusian airdromes and air space.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue taking measures to prevent enemy provocative actions or sabotage. The air defense is being reinforced.

In the past 24 hours, the enemy has been launching artillery and mortar strikes all over the contact line. The enemy shelling was recorded near the following settlements: the Chernihiv region’s Mykolaivka; the Sumy region’s Rivne, Atynske, Iskryskivshchyna and Novodmytrivka; the Kharkiv region’s Veterynarne, Krasne, Lukiantsi, Neskuchne, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Rybalkyne, Bilyi Kolodiaz, Nesterne, Zemlianky, Novomlynsk, Bolohivka, Kamianka and Dvorichna.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops opened fire on the Kharkiv region’s Kyslivka, Berestove, Kotliarivka, Vyshneve and Ivanivka, and the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy used all the available ground weapons to attack the Luhansk region’s Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna and Dibrova, and the Donetsk region’s Terny and Yampolivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian invaders shelled the following settlements with heavy artillery: the Donetsk region’s Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Soledar, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka , Druzhba, Zalizne and New York.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy shelling was recorded in the Donetsk region’s Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Marinka and Novomykhahilivka.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops launched artillery and mortar strikes on the Donetsk region’s Vuhledar, Mykilski Dachi and Prechystivka.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, over 10 settlements were hit with enemy artillery, namely the Donetsk region’s Vremivka and Novopil, and the Zaporizhzhia region’s Temyrivka, Shcherbaky, Stepove, Kamianske and Plavni.

In the Kherson direction, Russian occupiers continue to cause terror against civilians. The enemy launched mortar and artillery strikes on Antonivka and Kherson. Casualties among civilians were reported.

Due to the lack of collaborators, Russian invaders have to bring Russian officials to perform managerial duties within the temporarily occupied areas. Additionally, there is a shortage of workers across different sectors, as local residents are unwilling to collaborate with the occupiers. Hence, Russians are trying to attract workers from Russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Over the past day, Ukrainian air forces have launched 12 strikes on enemy clusters and four strikes on enemy air defense system positions. Near Soledar, the Ukrainian military destroyed Russia’s Su-25 aircraft.

Ukraine’s missile and artillery units hit two Russian command posts and five enemy personnel clusters, as well as one ammunition depot, one electronic warfare system and one radar system.
