Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has said that Canada will soon announce an additional package of security assistance to Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said this in a post on Telegram.
According to the report, Reznikov had a phone call with Canada's Minister of National Defense, Anita Anand.
"Today I had a very productive conversation with my close friend, Canada's Minister of National Defense Anita Anand. We discussed very good future news from Canada, which will significantly strengthen our defense capabilities. We look forward to the official announcement," Reznikov said.
He thanked Canada for standing with Ukraine.
On January 10, Reznikov and Croatian Defense Minister Mario Banozic discussed the possibilities of additional support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
