Russian troops launch missile strike on market in Kharkiv region, seven civilians injured

Russian troops have launched a missile strike on a market in the liberated urban-type village of Shevchenkove in the Kharkiv region.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy is again launching missile strikes on the Kharkiv region. In the urban-type settlement of Shevchenkove, Kupiansk district, a missile strike (preliminarily from an S-300 air defense system) was launched on the local market. All emergency services are working at the scene," he said.

Later, Syniehubov reported that "according to the Regional Center of Emergency Medical Assistance, seven civilians were injured in a missile strike on Shevchenkove, among them a 13-year-old girl."
