Russia’s “land corridor” to Crimea already in line of Ukrainian fire

Local carriers refuse to drive along the so-called "land corridor" to Crimea, as it is in the line of Ukrainian Army fire. Due to this fact, prices are on the rise on the occupied peninsula.

That’s according to Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine for Crimea, Denys Chistikov, who spoke on FREEDOM TV.

"Offensive efforts by the Armed Forces are approaching the ‘land corridor,’ which is already in the line of fire. Civilian carriers who used to deliver fuel and food through the "land corridor" are abandoning the route. In this regard, prices of fuel, medicines, and food products are increasing in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea," Chistikov said.

He added that the occupiers understand that the Crimea Bridge is unreliable and may be targeted by Ukraine’s forces.

As Ukrinform was previously briefed by Ukraine’s defense intelligence, the Army intends to strike enemy targets in all temporarily occupied territories.
