Russians launch 55 attack on Sumy region on Wednesday

On January 4, Russian aggressors attacked five border communities in Sumy region, damaging power lines in two of them.

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Russian troops fired 19 mortar shells and hit the Krasnopillia community with an anti-tank guided missile.

The enemy shelled the territory of the Bilopillia community with mortars, a total of 18 explosions were recorded. As a result of the shelling, a power line was damaged.

An enemy artillery shell hit the Shalyhyne community.

The enemy shelled the Znob-Novhorodske community using a self-propelled artillery system - four explosions were recorded. A power line was also damaged here.

In addition, the Russians launched 12 attacks on the Seredyno-Buda community.

As reported by Ukrinform, on Wednesday, January 4, Russian troops shelled settlements in  Chernihiv and Sumy regions, firing a total of more than 20 bombs and shells.
