Ukraine will hit the positions of Russian invaders throughout the occupied territory.

Andriy Cherniak, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said this in a comment to Ukrinform.

Russians are currently making every effort to preserve the so-called land corridor to Crimea, he noted.

"This was their idea of capturing Donetsk region, the coast of the Sea of Azov, and they also planned to cut Ukraine off from the Black Sea. But the occupying power could not implement any plans in Ukraine. Given that our foreign partners supply us with new types of weapons, the so-called land corridor to Crimea is certainly not safe. Ukraine will hit Russian positions throughout the occupied territory," Cherniak said.

The Ukrainian intelligence representative added that the invaders are redeploying new military units to the north of Crimea. They also continue to build defense structures both in the north of the temporarily occupied peninsula and in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region.

"They will lose, that's why they build defensive structures where they can, realizing that they will have to carry out military operations on these lines," Cherniak said.
