Anti-ship mine defused off coast of Odesa

An enemy anti-ship mine was detected and defused off the coast of Odesa.

Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesman of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Odesa can now breathe a sigh of relief. A controlled explosion of an enemy anti-ship mine was carried out off the coast. We thank the defense forces for their professional work," Bratchuk said.

He added that details would come later.

As reported by Ukrinform, a sea mine drifted close to the shore and exploded near the village of Kobleve in Mykolaiv region on December 27.
