Russian military death toll in Ukraine up to 106,720

Ukrainian forces have already killed about 106,720 Russian troops in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and January 1, 2023, including 760 in the past day alone.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 3,031 tanks (+2 over the past day), 6,084 armored fighting vehicles (+9), 2,021 artillery systems (+5), 423 multiple launch rocket systems, 213 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 283 aircraft, 269 helicopters, 4,720 motor vehicles and tanker trucks (+13), 723 cruise missiles (+12), 16 warships/boats, 1,792 unmanned aerial vehicles (+46), and 181 pieces of special equipment (+1).

The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Lyman and Bakhmut areas.
