Ukrainian air defense destroys 45 kamikaze drones on New Year's Eve

On the night of December 31, 2022 to January 1, 2023, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 45 Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones, which were used by the Russian invaders to attack Ukraine.
The press service of the Ukrainian Air Force Command said this in a post on the messaging app Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"On the night of December 31, 2022 to January 1, 2023, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones. Forty-five attack UAVs were destroyed due to combat work by the air defense of the Air Force in cooperation with the air defense of other elements of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Thirteen in 2022 and 32 in 2023," the post said.
