A total of 10 unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs), launched by Russian invaders, were shot down over the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions last night, including nine Shahed drones.

The relevant statement was made by the East Air Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night the East Air Command’s air and missile units, in cooperation with the air defense units of the Land Forces, destroyed nine Shahed UCAVs and one Marlin drone in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions,” the report states.

A reminder that, on the night of December 29, 2022, Russian troops fired 13 Iranian-manufactured suicide drones at Kharkiv’s energy infrastructure. Eleven of them were downed by Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
