President awards 119 Ukrainian defenders, including two posthumously

Relevant decree No.900/2022 was published on the president’s website, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, for personal courage and heroism shown in the defense of Ukraine’s state sovereignty and territorial integrity, loyalty to the military oath, military personnel were awarded three orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the ІІ degree and 11 of the ІІІ degree,

Also, two defenders were honored with the order "For Courage" of the I degree, three were honored with the order "For Courage" of the II degree, and 62 defenders – with the order "For Courage" of the ІІІ degree, including two posthumously.

The medal "For Military Service to Ukraine" was awarded to 30 service members, and the medal "Defender of the Fatherland" to 8 service members.
