Maternity home comes under enemy fire in Kherson

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Liashko on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Terrorists again targeted children’s lives. Today two babies have been born at this maternity home. One of them arrived a few minutes before Russian projectiles destroyed the walls of the maternity home,” Liashko wrote.

In his words, Russia insidiously opened fire on another maternity home in Kherson.

“Did the terrorists know where they were aiming at? Eleven months into the war, I can confidently say that yes, they did. Every day our hospitals and maternity homes become targets for Russian missiles and shells,” Liashko added.

Having no success on the battlefield, Russia is trying to conduct warfare against the Ukrainian newborns, Liashko stressed.
