Sixteen enemy mortar shells explode in Sumy region

Ukrinform
On December 26, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on a border settlement in the Sumy region, presumably with mortars.

The relevant statement was made by the North Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Between 12:40 p.m. and 01:05 p.m., sixteen explosions were recorded. Presumably, Russians used a 120mm mortar to open fire near the village of Sydorivka.

No losses among personnel or military equipment were reported. Civil infrastructure also remained intact.
