The authorities urged residents of Kherson in southern Ukraine to evacuate due to intensified shelling by the Russian forces.

This is stated on Telegram by the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Ukrinform reports.

"Non-stop enemy shelling of liberated Kherson is becoming more and more frequent and large-scale. The security situation has been very tense in recent days," the ministry emphasized.

Local authorities once again recommend that the residents of Kherson evacuate to safer regions not to risk their lives and those of their loved ones.
