Russian deadly strike on Kherson: Number of killed up to 8, wounded -- up to 58 (Updated)

The number of civilians wounded as a result of the latest Russian strike in the center of Kherson has increased to 58. Of them, 18 are in grave condition.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, broke the news on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"As of now, 58 people are known to have been injured, 18 of them are in grave condition," he said.

According to local prosecutors, the number of those killed has increased to eight.

As Ukrinform reported, on Saturday morning, Russian troops shelled the central part of Kherson. At least five people were killed in the attack.
