Russia has enough missiles in stock for another three to four massive strikes - Danilov

Russia’s current missile stock could allow the aggressor to launch three to four barrages at Ukraine before their reserves are exhausted.

That’s according to Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, who spoke with UP, Ukrinform reports.

"If we count the massive attacks that have already taken place, they could have enough for a maximum of two or three, maybe four more. But then they will be completely left without missiles, which would be unacceptable because they may have many other challenges and have to leave at least some reserves. So that you understand, they are long past the limit they were supposed to have left according to standards," said Danilov.

At the same time, he noted that Russia still has S-300 missiles, which they are currently employing to attack Ukrainian cities. According to Danilov, they have quite many of these missiles left.

He added that the Ukrainian military has learned how to shoot down Iranian kamikaze drones that Russia operates. "They have Shaheds, but I’d like to note that we have learned to repel them. If we’re not talking about any force majeure situations, recently we had a case where we shot down all 100% that they had launched," said the NSDC secretary.

As reported, overnight Monday, December 19, Ukraine’s Air Force, in conjunction with other components of Defense Forces, downed 30 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones launched by the Russians.
