Enemy attacks Dnipropetrovsk region with drones, heavy artillery, Grad systems

Russian forces last night attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with kamikaze drones, heavy artillery and Grad multiple launch rocket systems.

Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Our defenders from the Air Command East destroyed two drones over the region. They were Shaheds. The occupiers fired more than 60 projectiles from Grads and heavy artillery at the Nikopol district," he wrote.

The aggressor shelled towns and villages in three communities - Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove and Marhanets.

No casualties were recorded. However, there is a lot of destruction everywhere.

Eleven private houses, six outbuildings, cars, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged in the Chervonohryhorivka community. The attack cut off power supply to the water pumping station. Several villages were left without water. Emergency crews are already working to tackle the aftermath of the attack.

In Marhanets, Russian shells hit more than 20 private houses and outbuildings, a children's and youth sports school, a lyceum, an art school and an administrative building. Several power lines were damaged. A fire broke out in a private residence. Firefighters have already extinguished the blaze.
