On December 16, 2022, Russia launched another massive missile attack on Ukraine’s civil and energy infrastructure, having fired 98 missiles and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) over 65 times.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. No signs of enemy offensive groupings being formed were detected.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, Russian invaders launched artillery strikes near the Chernihiv region’s Hai, the Sumy region’s Havrylova Sloboda, Seredyna-Buda, Yastrubyne and Kindrativka, and the Kharkiv region’s Strilecha, Starytsia, Ambarne, Vilkhuvatka, Dvorichna and Krasne.

Russian occupiers are telling local residents that they will leave Kakhovna before the end of the year and, thus, loyal residents are offered to move to the temporarily occupied Crimea.

In the Luhansk region, Russian invaders are putting pressure on local entrepreneurs, forcing them to re-register businesses in accordance with Russian laws.
