Five civilians have been killed and two injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On December 8, 2022, Russians killed five civilians in the Donetsk region: three in Bakhmut, one in Toretsk and one in Netailove. Two more people were injured,” Kyrylenko wrote.

Currently, it is also impossible to count the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko added.
