Border guards shot down enemy fighter aircraft on Bakhmut outskirts

The Ukrainian border guards shot down an enemy Su-34 fighter aircraft on the outskirts of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. The fate of the pilots is currently unknown.

"With an accurate shot, MANPADS squad landed the occupiers’ ‘bird’ as soon as it appeared near the positions of the Border Guard Service members," the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

In particular, an enemy Su-34 was downed.

The Service informs that this is one of the aircraft that has recently caused trouble for the defenders of Bakhmut.

"The fate of the pilots is currently unknown, and the cost of the destroyed plane is estimated at 50 million dollars," border guards report.

As reported, the Russian army shelled 11 settlements in Donetsk region over the past day, December 2.
