Over 720 injured invaders taken to hospital in occupied Donetsk last week – General Staff

Last week over 720 injured Russian invaders were taken to hospital in the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have repelled enemy attacks near the Luhansk region’s Stelmakhivka and the Donetsk region’s Bilohorivka, Bakhmutske, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Marinka. Russian occupiers launched two missile strikes on civilian objects in the Kharkiv region’s Kivsharivka and the Donetsk region’s Sloviansk, 47 air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) on Ukrainian positions 35 times.

The threat of missile strikes on energy and critical infrastructure facilities is persisting across Ukraine.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. No signs of establishing enemy offensive groupings were detected.

In the Siverskyi direction, Russian troops used mortars and artillery systems to open fire near the Sumy region’s Manukhivka, Vorozhba, Prokhody, Mykhailivske and Maiske.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy used the whole range of artillery pieces to strike the Kharkiv region’s Vysoka Yaruha, Strilecha, Krasne, Hlyboke, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Ambarne, Petro-Ivanivka and Dvorichne.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Russian occupiers are holding the defense. The enemy used tanks and artillery to open fire near the Kharkiv region’s Pershotravneve, Orlianske, Kyslivka and Tabaivka, and the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske and Chervonopopivka. Russian troops also launched air strikes near Makiivka.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, Russian invaders are focusing efforts on conducting offensive operations. The enemy used tanks and artillery to strike the Donetsk region’s Spirne, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Nevelske, Marinka and Novomykhailivka. Russian occupiers launched air strikes near Avdiivka.

In the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, Russian troops are holding the defense. The enemy used tanks and artillery to strike the Donetsk region’s Velyka Novosilka, Bohoiavlenka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Neskuchne and Novopil, and the Zaporizhzhia region’s Olhivske, Zahirne, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka and Mali Shcherbaky. Russian occupiers also launched air strikes near Vuhledar, Olhivske and Stepove.

In the Kherson direction, Russian invaders opened fire on the village of Kizomys with rocket artillery. The enemy continues to launch artillery strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements situated on the right bank of the Dnieper, namely the city of Kherson.

In the temporarily occupied city of Horlivka, one of health facilities was repurposed into a military hospital, where access for civilians is completely restricted. Only health workers are allowed to visit patients.

On November 29, 2022, Ukrainian air forces launched 15 strikes on enemy personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters, and two strikes on Russian air defense missile system positions. The Ukrainian military shot down three Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Additionally, Ukraine’s missile and artillery units struck one Russian artillery system and one more important military target.
