Fifteen settlements come under enemy fire in Donetsk region

On November 28, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on 15 settlements in the Donetsk region. One civilian was reported injured.

The relevant statement was made by the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Donetsk region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian invaders have attacked the Donetsk region 21 times over the past day.

The following settlements came under enemy fire: Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Chasiv Yar, Velyka Novosilka, Pivnichne, Arkhanhelske, Berdychi, Vremivka, Vesele, Mykolaivka, Krasnohorivka, Novopokrovske, Orlivka, Stepanivka, Torske.

The enemy used aircraft, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

Nine civilian objects were destroyed or damaged, including six detached houses.

One civilian was injured in Russia’s artillery strike on the village of Torske.

Additionally, Russia’s Kh-31 missile struck the territory of a mine, having damaged a coal depot. No casualties were reported.

The police also helped to evacuate 109 more people. Generally, more than 31,420 civilians have been evacuated since the mandatory evacuation started, including 4,722 children and 1,909 people with disabilities.
