The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched four strikes on the Russian troops, particularly on an anti-aircraft missile system position.

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, November 23, published on Facebook.

"During the day, the Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on the energy infrastructure of our country. According to preliminary information, up to 65 Kh-101 cruise missiles were fired, 51 of which were shot down by the Defense Forces of Ukraine," reads the report.

As noted, residential buildings, thermal power plants, CHP plants, and electrical substations in Kyiv city, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv, and Zaporizhzhia regions were hit. Information about the consequences is being updated.

On the night of November 23, Russian troops launched two missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia region, as well as five MLRS attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff data, the situation in Volyn and Polissia directions has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

In Siversky direction, the Russians shelled the area of ​​ Kustyne, Sumy region, with MLRS.

In Slobozhansky direction, the Russian troops continue to keep their units in the border areas of Belgorod region for demonstration actions. Periodically, the enemy fires at the Ukrainian positions, as well as the settlements of Kharkiv region near the state border of Ukraine.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the invaders defend themselves, firing from tanks, mortars and tube artillery, particularly, in the areas of Kyslivka, Krokhmalne, and Berestove of Kharkiv region, as well as Makiivka and Bilohorivka of Luhansk region.

In Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the enemy focuses its main efforts on conducting offensive actions. The Russians open fire from tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery in the areas of Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Zelenopillia, Avdiivka, Vodianye, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske.

In Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, Russian troops defend themselves. The areas of about ten settlements came under enemy artillery fire.

In Kryvyi Rih and Kherson directions, the Russians defend their positions. With the use of tube and rocket artillery, the invaders attacked Maryivka in Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Kherson city, Tokarivka, Antonivka, and Dniprovske in Kherson region.

According to the General Staff data, Russian troops continue to suffer losses. It has been established that more than 30 seriously wounded soldiers from the north-western outskirts of the city were brought to the hospitals of the occupied Horlivka, Donetsk region, in recent days.

In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, the invaders continue to carry out forced resettlement of pro-Ukrainian residents. So, under the pretext of counter-subversive actions, about 20 local farmers were taken out of the settlements of Denezhnykove and Shtormove last week.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine confirmed damages to Russian personnel and military equipment inflicted in the previous days. In particular, in Luhansk region, an ammunition depot was damaged, about 50 Russian soldiers were killed, and approximately the same number were wounded. In Zaporizhzhia region, the enemy lost about 15 people killed and up to 20 wounded.
