In the town of Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region, a Russian shell hit a humanitarian aid distribution point located inside a school, killing one person and injuring two others.

Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"A direct hit on a humanitarian aid distribution point in the premises of a school killed a social worker and injured two more women," Starukh said.

According to him, there could have been more casualties, but they were prevented due to the correct organization of work on the provision of aid, avoiding the formation of queues and gatherings of people, and the presence of bomb shelters nearby.
