UK PM Sunak meets with Ukrainian rescuers in Kyiv

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, together with Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Serhiy Kruk, visited a fire department in Kyiv.

The Ukrainian Interior Ministry's press service said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Addressing the personnel of the fire department, Sunak said they inspired him with their bravery.

Kruk, in turn, added: "The United Kingdom is our reliable friend and partner, and we are grateful for the help of the British people and government, who have been supporting our rescuers since the first days of the war."
