Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu has said that 27 buses will be sent to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.

That's according to ERR, Ukrinform reports.

The Tallinn authorities and the foreign ministry also plan to send two additional ambulances to Ukraine in the near future.

Reinsalu said the aid was being sent in order to help Ukrainian society to function as humanely as possible during wartime conditions.

Meanwhile, the Estonian branch of the Lions Club (an international network of public charitable organizations) also reported that thanks to the funds collected as part of the "Light and Heat for Ukraine" campaign, 13 electric generators would be purchased and sent to Ukraine in the next few days.

Alar Rästa, head of the Lions Club Estonian region, noted that aid to Ukraine should continue as Ukrainians are fighting for the preservation of all of Europe.
