Russians shell seven Ukrainian regions on Friday

The Russian invasion forces shelled seven regions of Ukraine over the past day.

As reported by Ukrinform, this is noted in the consolidated report by the regional military administrations.

In Sumy region, the Russians carried out an artillery shelling of the Znob-Novhorod territorial community. No verified reports came of casualties or destruction to infrastructure.

The enemy shelled three border communities of Sumy region, launching 69 mortar mines, shells, etc. on these territories. No casualties were reported. There is destruction and damage in the Shalyhinska community.

Overnight Saturday, Russian forces launched seven missiles at Zaporizhia. Industrial infrastructure facilities sustained damage. Rescuers are working at the scenes of the strikes.

Over the past day, the aggressors shelled the civilian infrastructure in the areas of ​​Zaporizhia, Zarichne, Chervone, Malynyvka, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipole, Kamianske, Pavlivka, Mali Shcherbaki, Dorozhnianka, Olhivske, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Poltavka, Mala Tokmachka, and Stepnohirsk.

Thirty-three  reports were received about the destruction of homes (apartments) of Ukrainian citizens and infrastructure objects as a result of Russian shelling.

Over the past day, the evacuation of the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhia region was underway.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russians at night shelled the Nikopol district. They fired from Grad MLR systems and heavy artillery in the Nikopol, Marhanets and Myriv communities. Households, farm buildings, and vehicles were damaged in the attack. The details of the strikes are being clarified.

In Kharkiv region, the enemy fired mortars, tanks and artillery at the settlements in the Kupyansk, Chuhuyiv and Kharkiv districts located near the contact line and the border with Russia.

In Kupiansk, the roofs of some buildings and the road surface were damaged by shelling. Residential and commercial buildings were partially destroyed in Vovchansk. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.

In Luhansk region, the Russians opened fire on Hrekivka, Makiivka, Novoselivka, Myasozharivka, Novoehorivka, Ploschanka, Nevske, and Stelmakhivka in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions. The enemy attacked the positions of Ukraine’s Armed Forces six times, launching 22 artillery barrages and two airstrikes.

In Donetsk region, the Russians shelled Kurakhove overnight. A number of households were damaged.

Also, two strikes on Sviatohirsk were reported in the evening. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Throughout the night, minor shelling of positions in the Maryinka and Torets communities continued. Shelling intensified starting 5:30.

The situation remains tense, but under control in the New York, Pivnichne, Pivdenne, Kurdyumivka, Shumy, Druzhba, Mahdalinivka and Zalizne districts. There were no reports of civilian casualties.

Two people were killed and three – injured in Donetsk region over the past day.

In Kherson region, the enemy continues to employ MLR systems, artillery, and mortars to shell Ukraine’s positions on the right bank of Dnipro and territorial communities nearby.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, mortar and artillery shelling was reported in the areas of Mylove, Chervonyi Mayak, Beryslav, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Mykolaivka, Odradokamyanka, Chornobayivka, and Kherson.

In Beryslav, a local resident was injured as a result of a drone strike.

The night passed relatively calmly, without shelling, in other regions of Ukraine.
