Russia launched five missile strikes on Ukraine over past day – General Staff

Over the past day, Russian troops have launched five missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine, and have opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) over 10 times.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In different directions, Russian invaders opened fire as follows:

in the Slobozhanskyi direction – near the Kharkiv region’s Veterynarne, Hlyboke, Dvorichna, Ohirtseve, Osynovo, Starytsia, Khatnie and Fyholivka, with tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery;

in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions – near the Kharkiv region’s Berestove, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne, Pishchane and Tabaivka, the Luhansk region’s Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Novoselivske, Ploshanka and Stelmakhivka, and the Donetsk region’s Kolodiazi and Torske, with different artillery systems;

in the Bakhmut direction – near the Donetsk region’s Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Opytne, Maiorsk, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Yakovlivka and Spirne, with  mortars, cannon and rocket artillery;

in the Avdiivka direction – near the Donetsk region’s Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, New York and Pervomaiske, with all the available artillery systems;

in the Novopavlivka direction – near the Donetsk region’s Bohoiavlenka, Neskuchne, Vremivka, Vuhledar and Novopol, with different artillery systems;

in the Zaporizhzhia direction – near the Zaporizhzhia region’s Huliaipilske, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky and Pavlivka, with mortars, cannon and rocket artillery;

in the Kryvyi Rih direction – near the Kherson region’s Mylove, with artillery;

in the Kherson direction – near the Kherson region’s Antonivka, Bilozerka, Mykolaivka, Odradokamianka and Chornobaivka, with mortars and artillery systems.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. Belarus continues to provide support for Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
