Ukrinform
In the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, health workers are being forced to complete registration for military service in order to fill vacant positions.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian troops are focusing efforts on restraining the actions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in certain directions and continue to set up the defense frontiers on the left bank of the Dnieper.

At the same time, the enemy is conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions, and air reconnaissance.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have repelled enemy attacks near the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka, and the Donetsk region’s Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Vodiane and Novomykhailivka.

Russian invaders continue to open fire on the positions of Ukrainian forces and settlements located close to the contact line.

Over the past day, Russian occupiers have launched five air strikes and 27 missile strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) over 50 times.

Civilian objects were reported damaged in Russia’s missile strikes on the Kharkiv region’s Balakliia and Izium, the Zaporizhzhia region’s Vilniansk, the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Dnipro and Nikopol, the Mykolaiv region’s Ochakiv, and Odesa.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of Belarus is persisting.

In other directions, Russian troops opened fire as follows:

in the Siverskyi direction – near the Chernihiv region’s Hremiach and Senkivka, and the Sumy region’s Horky, Seredyna-Buda, Ukrainske and Fotovyzh, with mortars and cannon artillery;

in the Slobozhanskyi direction – near the Kharkiv region’s Hlyboke, Ohirtseve, Osynove, Starytsia and Khatnie, with tanks and different artillery systems;

in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions – near the Kharkiv region’s Berestove, Kyslivka, Krokhmalne, Pishchane and Tabaivka, and the Luhansk region’s Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske and Stelmakhivka, and the Donetsk region’s Kolodiaz, with tanks and all the available artillery systems;

in the Bakhmut direction – near the Donetsk region’s Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Opytne, Maiorsk, New York, Soledar, Spirne and Yakovlivka, with tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery;

in the Avdiivka direction – near the Donetsk region’s Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka and Pervomaiske, with tanks and artillery;

in the Novopavlivka direction – near the Donetsk region’s Bohoiavlenka, Vremivka and Vuhledar, with mortars, cannon and rocket artillery;

in the Zaporizhzhia direction – near the Zaporizhzhia region’s Zaliznychne, Mali Shcherbaky and Shcherbaky, with mortars;

in the Kherson direction – near the Kherson region’s Antonivka, Odradokamianka and Chornobaivka, with mortars.

In Russia’s Belgorod region, workers at industrial enterprises are actively recruited to join the Wagner private military company (PMC). As agreed with the management of Oskol Electric Steel Works, workers of draft age will be involved in military training at the base of Wagner PMC for a period of 30 days with pay. Training exercises will be carried out in groups, involving 25% of workers of the said category each. Upon completion, participants will be offered to sign a contract with Wagner PMC.

Due to significant personnel losses and the lack of medical personnel across enemy units on the territory of Ukraine, the so-called ‘health ministry’ in the Luhansk region’s temporarily occupied areas issued an order for health workers to complete registration for military service in order to fill vacant positions.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have shot down four enemy cruise missiles, two guided air-launched missiles and five Shahed-136 suicide drones.

Ukraine’s missile and artillery units struck four Russian command posts, 22 personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters, six ammunition depots, and four other important military targets.
