Woman injured in Russian shelling of Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian troops shelled Dnipropetrovsk region overnight, targeting three communities - Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Nikopol.

Valentyn Reznichenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"An 80-year-old woman was injured in Nikopol. Medical assistance has been provided to her and now she is being treated at home. A 10-storey building and private buildings, a filling station, a gas pipeline and power lines were damaged in the city," he wrote.

According to him, enemy attacks caused a fire on a private bypass. Firefighters have already extinguished the flames.

There were no casualties in Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities. In the Chervonohryhorivka community, houses and power lines were damaged.

In other territories of the region, the night passed without emergency situations and it is clam as of now.

As reported by Ukrinform, the enemy is trying to hold the temporarily captured territories, focusing efforts on attempts to disrupt the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions, and conducts offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.
