Russian forces kill nine civilians in Ukraine in past day

Nine civilians were killed and 24 others injured in Ukraine on November 8 as a result of Russia's armed aggression, according to figures from regional military administrations.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, on November 8, 2022 (as of 09:00 on November 9, 2022), four people were injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region, six civilians killed and 11 wounded in the Donetsk region (including three civilians killed earlier), two wounded in the Zaporizhzhia region, two killed (in a mine explosion) and four injured (including two injured in a mine explosion) in the Kharkiv region, and one killed and three injured in the Kherson region.

On November 8, Russian forces shelled the Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts of the Zaporizhzhia region, hitting civilian infrastructure.
