Over the past day, Ukrainian air forces have launched four air strikes on enemy targets, hitting two Russian air defense system positions. In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian invaders closed checkpoints and a commandant’s office in the temporarily occupied urban-type settlement of Kamianka.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian troops are trying to hold the temporarily occupied areas, focusing efforts on restraining the actions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in certain areas. At the same time, the enemy is conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions.

Russian troops are shelling the positions of Ukrainian forces along the contact line, setting up fortification structures in certain directions and conducting air reconnaissance.

The enemy continues to strike critical infrastructure and civilian houses in violation of international humanitarian law, and the laws and customs of war.

Over the past day, Russian occupiers have launched three missile strikes, five air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) two times. Settlements in such regions as Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia came under enemy fire.

The threat of new strikes and UCAV attacks is persisting, namely from the territory of Belarus.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. Belarus continues to provide support for Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

In other directions, Russian troops opened fire as follows:

in the Siverskyi direction – near the Chernihiv region’s Tymonovychi, with mortars;

in the Slobozhanskyi direction – near such settlements as Ambarne, Bolohivka, Stelmakhivka, Vovchanski Khutory, Hlyboke, Dvorichna, Zelene, Hatyshche and Chuhunivka, with mortars and cannon artillery;

in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions -  near Novoiehorivka, Siversk, Verkhniokamianske, Vedmezhe and Bilohorivka, with various artillery systems;

in the Bakhmut direction – near Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Andriivka, Klishchiivka and Ivanhrad, with mortars, cannon and rocket artillery;

in the Avdiivka direction – near Avdiivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka and Paraskoviivka, with tanks and all the available artillery systems;

in the Novopavlivka direction – near Vodiane, Vuhledar, Pavlivka, Vremivka and Velyka Novosilka, with various artillery systems;

in the Zaporizhzhia direction – near Poltavka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Dorozhnianka, Novoandriivka and Olhivske, with mortars, cannon and rocket artillery.

In the Southern Bug direction, the settlements bordering with the contact line came under enemy fire. Russian troops directly opened fire on the Kherson region’s Tryfonivka and the city of Nikopol with cannon and rocket artillery.

According to the General Staff, Russian occupiers continue to die in Ukraine. According to the confirmed information, eighteen Russian troops were eliminated and two injured in the fire damage inflicted on an administrative building in the Kherson region’s Hola Prystan.

Additionally, on November 2, 2022, near the Zaporizhzhia region’s Enerhodar, Russia’s S-300 air defense system and truck with ammunition were destroyed, and about 20 Russian invaders received injuries of various severity levels.

On November 3, 2022, in the city of Melitopol, fire damage was inflicted on Russia’s command post located in the industrial building. As a result, about 50 Russian invaders were wounded and up to 10 military equipment units were destroyed. In addition, about 80 military equipment units of various types, placed in hangars, were damaged.

According to the available information, in the Zaporizhzhia region’s Kamianka, Russian troops redeployed personnel, closed checkpoints and the commandant’s office.

The General Staff noted the low level of morale and psychological condition of Russian units deployed in the Zaporizhzhia region. These are the consequences of unsatisfactory conditions, poor equipment, constant delays and incomplete payments of financial support, as well as contemptuous attitude of the Russian military leadership towards subordinates.

Over the past day, Ukrainian air forces have launched four strikes on enemy positions. Two Russian personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters were struck, as well as two air defense system positions. The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units shot down two Shahed-136 suicide drones.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s missile and artillery units hit an enemy command post, five personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters, and a number of other important military targets.
