Another 20 Warmate combat UAVs, purchased as part of the Army of Drones project, were handed over to Ukrainian service members.

"In the summer, Monobank and UNITED24 raised UAH 64 million for the Army of Drones. We used these funds to purchase 40 Warmate kamikaze drones. Half of the drones were sent to the front line last month. Today, another 20 Warmates will strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, posted on Telegram.

Fedorov clarified that each of the drones was already performing combat missions. Operators mark a point on the map, provide data to the autopilot, after which it independently hits the target. Drones hit equipment, air defense systems, electronic warfare systems, and other critically important enemy objects.

As reported, the Army of Drones project was initiated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Digital Transformation. This is a comprehensive program that provides for the systematic purchase of drones, their repair, as well as training of relevant specialists. The project was launched on July 1.
