Malyar: Armed Forces of Ukraine holding active defense in Kherson region

"The battles are going on there. The General Staff describes them as defensive actions, within the framework of which some offensive operations are carried out. Over the past week, the intensity of developments at the front has somewhat decreased, and we hold the active defense," Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Hanna Malyar said during the nationwide telethon, commenting on the situation in Kherson region.

The situation remains under control, she stressed.

"We are not losing territory," the deputy minister assured.

As reported, on the night of October 25, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a base of Kadyrov soldiers who were evacuating to the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region.
