Ukraine Army repels enemy attacks near nine settlements

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled enemy attacks near such settlements as Ivanhrad, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Kurdiumivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Nevelske and Ternova.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian troops are trying to hold the temporarily occupied areas and focusing efforts on restraining the actions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in certain directions. At the same time, the enemy continues attempts to conduct offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction and the Avdiivka direction.

Russian invaders are shelling Ukrainian positions along the contact line, building fortification structures in certain areas and conducting air reconnaissance. In violation of international humanitarian law and the laws and customs of war, the enemy continues to strike critical infrastructure and civilian houses.

Over the past day, Russian troops have launched five missile strikes and 30 air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) over 100 times.

Over 40 Ukrainian settlements came under enemy fire, including the city of Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Kharkiv region’s Prykolotne and the Kherson region’s Velyka Oleksandrivka.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. Belarus continues to provide support for Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine. The threat of missile strikes and UAV attacks is persisting all over Ukraine.

In other directions, Russian troops opened fire as follows:

in the Siverskyi direction – near such settlements as Starykove, Seredyna-Buda, Basivka, Mykolaivka and Ryzhivka, with mortars, cannon artillery and UCAVs;

in the Slobozhanskyi direction – near Vilkhuvatka, Budarka, Shevchenkove, Strilecha and Dvorichna, with mortars, cannon and rocket artillery;

in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions – near Berestove, Pershotravneve, Nevske, Bilohorivka, Serhiivka and Spirne, with tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery;

in the Bakhmut direction – near Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Ivanhrad, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Maiorsk and Odradivka, with tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery;

in the Avdiivka direction – near Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Nevelske and Novokalynove, with tanks and different artillery systems.

In the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, Russian troops opened fire on Ukrainian positions and civil infrastructure near Vremivka, Vuhledar, Zaliznychne, Novopil and Poltavka.

In the Southern Bug direction, over 15 settlements came under enemy fire along the contact line. In order to conduct air reconnaissance, Russian invaders completed 20 different UAV flights.

According to the confirmed data, following the Ukrainian Army’s pinpoint artillery strikes, Russia’s ammunition depot was destroyed in the Luhansk region’s Novoivanivka and over 10 Kadyrovites were eliminated. In Svatove, up to 10 Russian invaders were eliminated and about five trucks with ammunition destroyed.

Over the past day, Ukrainian air forces have launched 21 strikes. Seventeen enemy ammunition and military equipment clusters were confirmed as hit, as well as two Russian strong points and two air defense system positions. The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units shot down five enemy UAVs.

Ukraine’s missile and artillery units struck one enemy command post, two personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters, one electronic warfare system, and other important military targets.
