Russia’s Ka-52 attack helicopter downed in Kherson region

This morning the Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners have shot down Russia’s Ka-52 attack helicopter in the Kherson region.

The relevant statement was made by the South Air Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Around 10:30 a.m., October 19, 2022, in the Kherson region’s Beryslav district, a unit of Kherson Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the South Air Command shot down a Ka-52 attack helicopter of Russian occupiers,” the report states.

A reminder that, on the night of October 15, 2022, the South Air Command’s anti-aircraft missile units destroyed a Shahed-136 suicide drone and a Russian attack helicopter in southern Ukraine.
