This morning Russian troops have launched a missile attack on the city of Kharkiv from Russia’s Belgorod, destroying humanitarian aid warehouses.

The relevant statement was made by Head of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region Serhii Tymoshko on Suspilne, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“At 08:20 a.m., a missile strike was launched on Ukrzaliznytsia’s infrastructure facility in the city of Kharkiv. Six missiles were fired, presumably S-300. As a result, railroad tracks were slightly damaged, as well as warehouse premises. There were no military objects within that territory. The military have never used that territory, but there were humanitarian aid warehouses,” Tymoshko told.

In his words, six impact areas were discovered. Two more missiles were shot down, and their fragments fell in other districts of the city.

A reminder that, in the morning of October 18, 2022, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kharkiv. No casualties were reported.

According to the regional prosecutor’s office, two districts came under enemy fire. In the Slobidskyi district, the Russian missile fragments fell on the asphalt at the entrance to an apartment block. In the Osnovianskyi district, Russian invaders struck the warehouse premises with food products and civilian cars.
