Ukrainian forces repel enemy attacks near 11 settlements

Units of Ukraine's defense forces on Saturday repelled attacks by Russian troops outside Novosadove in the Kramatorsk direction, Yakovlivka, Berestove, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske and Opytne in the Bakhmut direction, as well as Krasnohorivka, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Marinka and Pobieda in the Avdiivka direction.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this on Facebook.

In its evening update, the General Staff said that the aggressors continue to focus their efforts on attempts to reach the administrative border of the Donetsk region, as well as to hold captured areas of the Kharkiv, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. The invaders are shelling the positions of the Ukrainian troops along the entire contact line, constructing their positions in certain directions and conducting aerial reconnaissance, as well as striking critical infrastructure and homes of civilians.

According to the General Staff, the enemy today struck targets and civilians in more than 20 settlements, including Kostiantynivka, Bilohiria, Ivanivka, Nikopol, Bakhmut, Soledar, Yakovlivka, Davydiv Brid and Nalyvaikivka.

The enemy hit infrastructure facilities in the Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv and other regions. It was established that the invaders used cruise, aviation and anti-aircraft guided missiles for the strikes. In addition, they continue to use Iranian-made Shahed-136 unmanned aerial vehicles.
