This morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed four enemy missiles fired by the Russians from the north of the Caspian Sea.

"The enemy continues to attack Ukraine with missiles. Today is another day, another attack, missile danger throughout the country. Since 07:00, the aircraft took off from Astrakhan region, from the north of the Caspian Sea. Earlier, from 03:00 to 05:30, there were reports on eight Shahed-136 kamikaze drones downed in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. The Operational Command ‘South’ worked successfully, eight drones were shot down. Since 07:00, missiles have been launched. According to preliminary information, at least four missiles were fired from strategic aviation, and we have information that four missiles have already been destroyed by our units. Aviation, anti-aircraft troops, and portable air defense systems of our mobile groups are involved. Our units are doing everything possible and impossible to intercept these extremely difficult targets," Yuriy Ihnat, the spokesperson for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said during the nationwide news telethon.

The Air Force Command spokesperson emphasized that the air raid alert would be maintained throughout the territory of Ukraine today as Kh-101 missile has a range of 5,500 km.

He noted that yesterday more than 50 Kh-101, Kh-555 missiles had been launched from Tu-95, Tu-160 strategic bomber aircraft.

As reported, on October 10, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. In total, the invaders launched 83 missiles, of which 43 were destroyed by the Ukrainian air defense forces.

As a result of the shelling, about 70 objects were damaged, including 29 critical infrastructure facilities. As of 07:00, October 11, 19 people were killed in yesterday's massive missile attacks and 105 more were injured.
