South: Ukraine’s Armed Forces eliminate more than 170 invaders in past day

In the south of the country, the Ukrainian military eliminated 174 invaders, destroyed Russian howitzers, armored personnel carriers and ammunition depots, and the Ukrainian aviation struck enemy air defense systems.

According to the Operational Command South, units of missile troops and artillery performed 205 fire missions.

"Over the past day, (the enemy - ed.) inflicted fire damage on our positions, communities adjacent to the front line, as well as on the rear areas, where they hit critical infrastructure facilities, deploying strategic and army aviation, MLRS, heavy artillery, mortars. They actively used UAVs to detect our positions and adjust artillery fire. Two K-52 helicopters attacked our positions, there were no losses," the Command said.

The enemy’s losses in the south include: 174 invaders; two Msta-B howitzers; 12 units of armored vehicles; two tanks; two mortars; two ammunition depots.

In addition, the Ukrainian forces also damaged five units of enemy armored vehicles and a Giatsint-B self-propelled gun.
